It’s happening in other communities. Forward-thinking planning and policies in support of bicycle transportation are transforming cities like Austin, Minneapolis, Oakland and San Francisco, where more people choose to travel by bike and the entire community benefits.

The same transformation is possible in our region. We’re helping lawmakers and community leaders recognize that public streets must serve all people, not just people in cars. We’re encouraging and enabling more people to use a bike more often. We’re building partnerships and alliances with the entire community in mind.

SABA staffs the North Natomas Transportation Management Association's Bike Doc program, where SABA mechanics provide free diagnostics and basic repairs to North Natomas residents. We'll introduce those services into other neighborhoods during 2017.

We depend on your support. Your tax-deductible, year-end donation to SABA is an investment in our capacity to promote the regionwide benefits of bicycling: cleaner air, reduced traffic congestion, friendlier and more vibrant neighborhoods, and opportunity within everyone’s reach.

Please take a moment right now to donate $50, $100, $250 or whatever amount feels right for you. You can even choose to make a recurring monthly donation via PayPal or your own bank — it’s an easy way to be generous.
