Repairing & Rehoming Donated Bikes

Three children on bikes practice riding in a parking lot while an adult looks on.

Bicycles are essential for many who need to get to school, a doctor’s appointment, a job, or maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Sacramento’s many social service organizations are helping to fill these needs. SABA mechanics upcycle community-donated bicycles and then deliver them to those organizations in need.

SABA is a 501(c)(3)non-profit organization. Donated bicycles will support our many educational, advocacy, and assistance programs, such as Lights On!, our free bike light giveaways, and our Ride Ready no-cost community bike repair clinics.

Providing Bikes for Social Service Organizations

We are proud to be able to help our many social services organizations provide their clients access to dependable and safe transportation.

If you are a social service organization, please fill out the Bike Request form to request donated bicycles for your clients.

Have a bike to donate?

If you have an unused bike at home or in storage, please consider donating it to UpCycle. Bike parts, components, accessories, and tools are welcome!

We are looking for bikes that need minor repairs. Please no department store bikes (like from Target or Walmart).
