Velo Ball was a great success!
SABA held its cycling celebration – Velo Ball – on October 5 to help outfit and launch the new Community Bike Shop that will be on Stockton Blvd. In partnership with Community Shop Class, we are opening a youth led bike shop to train young people to repair bikes and install e-bike conversion kits.
The party was a great success with music, dancing, and awards! By using local food and no plastic (everyone was given a reusable mug), we tried to be as sustainable as possible. Thanks to all who participated.
